Documentation

Transparent protocols, every batch.

How we test, how we ship, and how to read what we give you. This page covers the documentation behind every product on the site — not usage instructions, which we don’t provide.

Reading a Certificate of Analysis

Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) confirming identity and purity before it leaves our facility. A Nordvik COA includes:

Identity confirmation

Mass spectrometry (MS) and/or HPLC retention time matched against a reference standard, confirming the vial contains the labeled compound and not a substitute or analog.

Purity (HPLC)

Reverse-phase HPLC purity percentage, reported against the specification threshold for that compound.

Water content & residual solvents

Karl Fischer water content and residual solvent testing (GC), relevant to lyophilized peptide stability and shelf life.

Endotoxin & microbial count

LAL endotoxin testing and microbial count, reported in EU/mg and CFU/g against the lot specification.

COAs are matched to the lot number printed on your vial label. Verified accounts can request the COA for any lot directly — see the lookup on the homepage.

Storage & handling

  • Lyophilized (powder) form: store at -20°C, protected from light. Stable for extended periods when kept sealed and frozen.
  • After reconstitution: store at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe noted on the compound’s Certificate of Analysis. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which degrade peptide integrity.
  • Shipping: orders ship with cold-chain packaging appropriate to the compound’s stability profile. Domestic orders are shipped for next-day or two-day delivery to minimize transit time at ambient temperature.

Business account verification

Pricing and ordering are restricted to verified accounts. The process:

  1. Register with your company or institution name, business type, and business website.
  2. Attest that the account is for research or business use only — not personal or human consumption.
  3. Review — our team confirms the account before pricing and checkout are enabled. This is a manual step, not an automated approval, and may take one to two business days.

Accounts that don’t clear verification are not enabled for ordering. We don’t make exceptions for individual buyers regardless of stated purpose.

Quality assurance methodology

Testing is performed by third-party analytical labs, not self-certified in-house. Methods follow standard pharmacopeial-adjacent practice for peptide characterization (HPLC for purity, MS for identity, KF for water content, LAL for endotoxin) — the same methods referenced on every product’s Certificate of Analysis, not a simplified marketing summary of them.

All products are sold strictly for laboratory research or business use by verified institutional and business accounts. Not for human or veterinary consumption. Not for personal use.
