Reading a Certificate of Analysis
Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) confirming identity and purity before it leaves our facility. A Nordvik COA includes:
Identity confirmation
Mass spectrometry (MS) and/or HPLC retention time matched against a reference standard, confirming the vial contains the labeled compound and not a substitute or analog.
Purity (HPLC)
Reverse-phase HPLC purity percentage, reported against the specification threshold for that compound.
Net content
Quantity per vial verified against the labeled amount, confirming what’s on the label is what’s in the vial.
Additional testing, case by case
Endotoxin, heavy metals, water content, and other specialized panels aren’t run as standard on every lot. They can be arranged on request — contact us before ordering if a specific test matters for your use.
COAs are matched to the lot number printed on your vial label. Look up the COA for any lot directly on our COA Lookup page.
Storage & handling
- Lyophilized (powder) form: store at -20°C, protected from light. Stable for extended periods when kept sealed and frozen.
- After reconstitution: store at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe noted on the compound’s Certificate of Analysis. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which degrade peptide integrity.
- Shipping: orders ship with cold-chain packaging appropriate to the compound’s stability profile. Domestic orders are shipped for next-day or two-day delivery to minimize transit time at ambient temperature.
Quality assurance methodology
Testing is performed by third-party analytical labs, not self-certified in-house. Standard testing on every lot covers HPLC for purity, MS/HPLC for identity, and net content verification against the labeled quantity — the same methods referenced on every product’s Certificate of Analysis. Additional panels (endotoxin, heavy metals, water content, microbial count, and others) aren’t run as standard, but can be arranged case by case — contact us before ordering if a specific test matters for your use.
